SUMMARY

The Data Analyst will play a key role within the Finance Department by transforming large data sets into meaningful insights that drive financial modeling, forecasting, scenario analysis and financial reporting to contribute to operational efficiencies and financial improvements. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, technical expertise, and a basic understanding of financial principles.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Extract, clean, and analyze large volumes of operational data from multiple internal and external sources.
Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports to track key metrics and performance indicators.
Assist in forecasting, budgeting, and long-range financial planning using data-driven models.
Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities derived from data analytics to support risk mitigation and strategic decisions.
Automate manual data processes and reporting functions to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Collaborate with finance leadership and cross-functional teams to support business objectives with actionable data insights.
Ensure data quality, accuracy, and compliance with internal controls
Prepare clear and concise reports and presentations for Executive leadership.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Actuarial Science, Economics, Industrial or Systems Engineering or related field.
2+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, preferably within a Finance or Operating environment.
Strong proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools such as SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent platforms.
Business Optimization initiatives management, process modeling and simulation scenarios.
Basic understanding of financial principles, reporting, and data governance. Data cleaning, trend analysis, KPIs, dashboards, storytelling with data.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail with commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights to achieve for non-technical stakeholders engagement.
