SUMMARY

The Financial Analyst assesses Alivi’s financial data to provide insights and recommendations for decision-making. They analyze financial trends, prepare reports, and create financial models to guide budgeting, investment, and strategic planning. The Financial Analyst role involves interpreting data, forecasting, and collaborating with teams to enhance the company’s financial performance.
This role requires an initiative-taking professional with strong technical skills, the ability to manage complex data sets, and a keen eye for identifying trends and key performance indicators (KPIs).

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Calculate and analyze monthly IBNR/IBNP-Provider payables and reconcile corresponding liability accruals.
  • Analyze financial performance and variances, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Produce a monthly financial business review for each payor, entity and line of business including financial and operational KPI's.
  • Research and document monthly Gross Margin results, analyzing significant variances to budget.
  • Develop and monitor key financial metrics and KPIs to assess business performance.
  • Prepare detailed financial reports and dashboards for senior management, highlighting trends and actionable insights.
  • Organize and compile data for the development of monthly reforecast.
  • Coordinate the annual budgeting process, set timelines, data base, templates, validation, reporting, etc.
  • Update budget and forecast numbers in the accounting system.
  • Extract, transform, and analyze data from various sources to support financial decision making.
  • Preparation of scenario modeling and presentation of outcomes analysis.
  • Develop Plan for new payor/service implementation- revenue, margin, volume, and operating resources.
  • Identify opportunities to automate data extraction, analysis, and reporting tasks.
 

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in accounting or finance.
  • Thorough understanding of financial statements and Operational Performance metrics
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and present clear insights.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including advanced functions such as pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and complex formulas.
  • Highly organized, meticulous, and able to meet tight deadlines in a demanding environment.
  • Experience in automating data processes or working with SQL.
  • Experience with data visualization tools, particularly Power BI is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to operate independently with minimal daily direction from manager to accomplish objectives.
  • Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees and management to maximize performance, creativity, problem solving, and results.
  • Excellent written, communication and data entry skills
  • Moderate experience in Microsoft Teams, Outlook, and Word.
 

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, Actuarial, Data Analytics or Healthcare Management
